A Wedding at Villa Astor in Sorrento
Samantha and Eli chose Sorrento, at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, for their wedding. They celebrated at Villa Astor, a historic villa with gardens and terraces suspended above the Bay of Naples, with Vesuvius on the horizon. The wedding was planned by Wedding Events Italy, with a welcome evening at Bagni Sant’Anna on the Sorrento seafront.
The Wedding Day
The film opens with Sorrento seen from above, the harbour and the cliffs over the sea. Samantha got ready in the elegant rooms of the villa, while Eli and his friends waited in the gardens among palm trees and Mediterranean plants. The ceremony took place on a terrace overlooking the gulf, under an arch of white and blue flowers, with Vesuvius in the background.
After the aperitivo in the gardens, Samantha and Eli shared a moment alone on the villa’s steps at sunset, with the sun going down over the sea. Dinner was served on the terrace along the cliff, and the evening ended with a party, a champagne tower and fireworks over the bay.
