A Wedding at La Foce in the Val d’Orcia
Jess and Connor chose La Foce for their wedding in Tuscany: a historic estate overlooking the Val d’Orcia, with its rolling hills, rows of cypress trees and the famous Italian gardens designed by Cecil Pinsent. The wedding was planned and designed by Italian Style Weddings.
The Wedding Day
The film opens with the details of the day, from the bride’s shoes to the bouquet, and with Jess getting ready in the frescoed rooms of the villa. Above the Val d’Orcia, the green hills of southern Tuscany stretch as far as the eye can see.
Jess and Connor met in the geometric garden of La Foce, among the box hedges and in front of the stone staircase, sharing laughter and a glass of champagne before the ceremony. They said “I do” among white flowers and cypress trees, and the evening continued with dinner in the gardens and a cake decorated with fresh berries.
